Join photographer Alessandra Sanguinetti and Tasweer’s Artistic Director Charlotte
Cotton in conversation about Alessandra’s critically acclaimed, long-term collaboration with cousins Belinda and Guillermina, chronicling their relationship in the context of their home on a farm near Buenos Aries. The Adventures of Guille and Belinda and the Enigmatic Meaning of their Dreams (first published in 2010, 2nd edition to be published
by Mack Books in June 2021) is a superlative story of intimacy, imagination, and the transition from childhood to adulthood. Through both staging performances with Guille and Belinda and thoughtfully observing their interactions, Alessandra narrates a vivid
story of the challenges, rites of passage, and wonder of relationality and imaginative life. In 2020, Mack Books published the second part of the series The Adventures of Guille and Belinda and The Illusion of an Everlasting Summer and Alessandra’s continued intimate collaboration with Belinda and Guillermina.
